Boeing B-17F-5-BO (S/N 41-24406) "All American III" of the 97th Bomb Group,
414th Bomb Squadron, in flight after a collision with an Me-109. The
aircraft was able to land safely. (U.S. Air Force photo)

?Thank you John, I was looking for 41-24405, that's why I got few
information about it : Original with 301st BG. Transfer to 2nd BG 14 Nov 43
after 56 missions. 24 missions with 2nd BG, total 80. MIA Klagenfurt 19 Mar
44. Fighters firing rockets, crashed near Cilli. Herman Lavine crew, Hyatt,
Seamans, Boehm, Croccia, Hanson, Lazar, Rome, Cook, Cary. Boehm, Cook POW,
rest KIA. source
